Customized and Holistic Dual-Diagnosis Treatment
If you are suffering with schizoaffective disorder and addiction, you’ve come to the right place. At WisHope Recovery, we understand that tackling substance use and schizoaffective disorder simultaneously is important for anyone striving to recover since continued drug and/or alcohol use can present real complications in stabilizing a person’s mental, physical and emotional health. This is why we offer a holistic dual-diagnosis treatment program that is tailored for each person’s unique set of needs and circumstances. Our licensed professionals use only the latest evidence-based treatment practices that have been approved by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA).
Our Schizoaffective Disorder and Addiction Treatment Program - What to Expect
WRC’s dual-diagnosis treatment approach allows for clients to work closely with licensed professionals to develop a customized treatment plan to determine what their path to recovery will look like. We take into account a person’s current severity of schizoaffective disorder, any other mental health issues, their history of drug and/or alcohol use, their supportive systems, and their personal commitment to living a life in long-term recovery. Participants will undergo a pre-screen to identify the severity of their addiction and schizoaffective to see which type of treatment will work best.
Typically, our dual-diagnosis treatment programs are offered on an inpatient level for people who struggle with substance use and at least one other mental health condition or disorder. However, we do offer outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, extended care programs, and more. Our Dual Diagnosis treatment is built on an integrated approach, meaning our programs combine the use of multiple treatment services in order to treat the whole person, so the mind, the body, and the soul.
