Our Waukesha, WI Treatment Programs are Individualized

We combine our outpatient services with supportive social and community based platforms, ensuring the “whole person” is engaged in the transformation process.

Family described in terms of strongly supportive, long-term roles and relationships between people who may or may not be related by blood or marriage. Through cultural learning our belief systems and values are formed, quite often our core beliefs are the place we feel most safe with in ourselves even though these are the exact beliefs that set in motion a path of self destructive behaving. Addressing the causes of behaviors and patterns that were formed within these relationships allows clients and family members to begin to create new beliefs and values. Learn more about our connection to the family.

Individual Therapy

Clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

Group Therapy

Groups can act as a support network and a sounding board. Other members of the group often help you come up with specific ideas for improving a difficult situation or life challenge, and hold you accountable along the way.

Regularly talking and listening to others also helps you put your own problems in perspective. Many people experience mental health difficulties, but few speak openly about them to people they don’t know well. Oftentimes, you may feel like you are the only one struggling — but you’re not. It can be a relief to hear others discuss what they’re going through, and realize you’re not alone.

Diversity is another important benefit of group therapy. People have different personalities and backgrounds, and they look at situations in different ways. By seeing how other people tackle problems and make positive changes, you can discover a whole range of strategies for facing your own concerns.
